Work through the courses relevant to your role and facility's needs at your own pace, from anywhere, with 1 year of access to complete your training.
4. Download Your Certificates
Once you've successfully completed your courses, download your completion certificates and share them with your facility administrator for their records.

Understanding California's ARF Staff Training Requirements
California Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) have staff training requirements that vary based on employee responsibilities, facility programs, and the needs of the residents they serve.
According to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), ARF staff training includes:
ARF Staff Training
Initial Training: Emergency and disaster preparedness, infection control practices, and emergency intervention
On-the-Job Training: Reporting dependent adult abuse, delayed egress, food service, and other job-related training or experience
Ongoing Training: Infection control practices
Annual Training: Emergency and disaster preparedness, emergency intervention, and infection control practices
Direct Care Staff Training
Initial Training: Restricted health conditions
On-the-Job Training: First aid, hospice care, and emergency intervention
Our ARF Staff Training Bundle provides online coursework covering many of these essential topics, along with additional training in dementia care, medication management, personal care, and resident support.
Important: Training requirements vary by facility and employee role. This bundle supports ARF staff education but may not fulfill every required training component. Facility administrators are responsible for determining applicable requirements, arranging any additional instruction or on-the-job training, and maintaining appropriate training records.
